This was our first trip to the mountains. We took our four children to all the flumes and gem mines in the area in North Carolina. This is where it all began.

Lee & Sarah in Southern Illinois at a Fluorite mine. Purple and yellow fluorite was found at this mine. This mine was very accessible and easy to get to, but a little slippery and rocky in certain areas. This mine is closed to the public.
August 2022
This photo was taken while at a group dig we offered to our customers to a pegmatite mine through Gem Mountain in Spruce Pine, N.C. the owners do Salt this location but through the years I've been able to find Garnet, Aquamarine, Clear and Smokey Quartz, Tourmaline, as well as gem quality Golden Beryl naturally in this location by breaking open the granitic rock. This dig was a lot of fun and we enjoyed watching our family, friends and our customers that came along with us dig and find minerals here.

Pictured below is a photo of a supervised dig on Pine Mt. in Spruce Pine N.C. through the Quartz Corp of us and our two younger children, Jordyn & Lilly. At this mine we found Feldspar, mica books, smokey quartz and Autunite. Fun fact, Autunite is uv reactive under a uv light. We have some at our shop on display in our black light room.

We work directly with small mine owners, and stone-cutters to source crystals and gemstones from all over the world. We have a small team that we work with from all over the world. We also mine 50% of our own minerals from various mines (private & public) all over the country.

Once you receive your order, we ask that you contact us within 5 days to discuss a return. After we provide return authorization, you’ll have up to 30 days from your delivery date to ship your order back to us. You’ll receive a full refund or exchange once we receive your package!
